Church Staff
Dick, a third-generation pastor, grew up in Phoenix, graduated from Bob Jones University, and has served in full time local church ministry since 1985. After nine years as senior pastor of the bilingual Evangelical Church in central Phoenix, he, his wife Joyce, and their 4 children Tori, Shannon, Zachary and Tyler, answered God's call to plant a new church in the Phoenix metropolitan west valley. The visionary for our ministry, Pastor’s passion is that Westpointe Baptist Church be a worshiping community where God is exalted, a witnessing community where our neighborhood and the world are evangelized with the gospel of Jesus Christ, and a working community where the family of God is edified and equipped to serve. Dick has a special heart for Christian education and Spanish ministries, and serves on the board of directors of Christian Schools of Arizona, Mission Gospel Ministries International, and Southwest Baptist Missions.
